HELIFAN is designed to fit standard four and five blade ceiling fans with a central motor housing, which covers the fans installed in the vast majority of dens, living rooms, garages, and home offices. The attachment sits underneath the fan hub and does not require any change to the blades.
Is it safe to run with the fan on? +
Yes. HELIFAN mounts to the fan hub and is balanced to keep your blades spinning normally. The airframe stays still, the rotors spin overhead, and airflow behaves like it did before the kit was installed.
Does it affect how my fan works? +
Air movement stays intact. Your usual speed settings, direction settings, and remote controls keep working exactly the same. The only thing that changes is the pull chain, which becomes a sculpted grenade included with your kit.
How long does installation take? +
